Tens of thousands of holiday lights twinkle in Chesapeake Beach to make it the Brightest Beacon on the Bay.  Bring your family to the official start of the holiday season where all of the lights are lit magically from the Chesapeake Beach Town Hall by our own "Mother Christmas", Jo Finch, on the Sunday after Thanksgiving at 6 p.m.  Then ride through Town to enjoy the holiday sights, which will be displayed until the week after the New Year. 

If you are a resident of Chesapeake Beach, enter our holiday lighting contest.  Contest categories include best decorated:  house, townhouse, business or boat.  To enter the contest, simply call the Town Hall at 410-257-2230.   Winners will be announced at the December Town Council Meeting.   Remember it is never too early to start planning your holiday decorating ideas.
