Proposed Zoning Map
The following locations shown on this map are proposed for Zoning Changes when the Official Zoning Map and Zoning Ordinance are considered for revisions (in the future):
Proposed Changes to Commercial:
- West side of Bayside Road for the first block south of the boundary with North Beach
- The North Beach Volunteer Fire Department Site
- Along the North side of Chesapeake Beach Road running westward from the current Commercial District (A-1 Antiques facility)
Proposed Residential Changes:
East of Bayside Road from Veteran's Park to North Beach proposed to change to Residential Medium Density, except the following areas which will remain Residential Village (with no bonus density overlay):
The Crooked I Facility
Baycrest Townhomes
Horizons on-the-Bay
Seagate
The Former Stinnett's Restaurant site - now approved as Stinnett's Place Condominium
The west side of Bayside Road between 15th and 16th Street - Residential Medium Density
Note that the proposed zoning map included in this Comprehensive Plan is illustrative and does not constitute the Town’s official Zoning Map unless and until it is adopted as such by the Town Council.
